Guide to Fine Art Photography Print Options
Thank you for your interest in my fine art photography prints. My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for the natural world, with the intention of bringing its beauty, stillness, and sense of place into the interiors of homes and offices. Whether a photograph resonates with a personal memory of a landscape you’ve visited or evokes a feeling of calm, solitude, or connection, my commitment is to translate that experience into a print of the highest possible quality. Each image is carefully crafted not only to be visually compelling, but to honor the landscapes and wildlife that inspired it.
Beyond aesthetics, my photography is also driven by a respect for conservation and the responsibility we share in protecting wild places. By creating meaningful lasting artwork, I hope to encourage a deeper appreciation for nature and inspire thoughtful stewardship of the environments that continue to shape and sustain us.
Buying art online can feel daunting, especially when we naturally want to experience the photographs in person. Traditional galleries offer that opportunity, but are often limited by space and higher overhead costs which can restrict selection and significantly increase pricing. Online galleries remove many of these barriers, allowing for a broader presentation of work and greater accessibility, and they continue to play an increasingly important role in the art world.
I fully understand any hesitation that may come with purchasing art online. To help ease that uneasiness, I’ve created this page to guide both first time buyers and seasoned collectors through my approach to fine art photography, print options, and craftsmanship. Transparency and quality are central to everything I offer. My goal is simple… Deliver exceptional fine art prints that you can confidently invest in and enjoy, not just today, but for many years to come.
Why collect fine art photography?
Anyone can go to a store and pick up a piece of wall art to hang in their house. These are often overproduced and made with cheap materials. When you invest in fine art, you’re investing in an artist that cares about their craft and the materials that go into making the art. From the time the photo is shot on a high end camera, through the process of editing and making the image look perfect, to the quality materials used when making the final print to be hung on the wall. Within that you have an artist that is there for you to answer any questions you have about any part of the process. That’s something that can’t be purchased at the store. So why are collectors drawn to fine art photography?
Investment in limited editions prints: As an artists reputation in the industry grows, their prints sell more, possibly selling out, leading to the value of each print to appreciate.
Connection: Photography causes us emotional connections. Photos can show you your dream landscapes, bring back memories of past trips or your favorite wild animals.
Documenting a moment in time: Every photo ever happens that exact way once. That sunrise will only ever have those clouds and light that exact way once.
The Artist: Supporting an artist that you feel a bond with and that shares common values.
Ambiance: A photo can add to or change the feeling of a room. It can blend in and live with the room or it can be a statement piece as a pop of color.
Edition Sizes
Limited edition prints means that there is a finite amount of prints that will be made of a certain photograph. These photos will be numbered showing their place in the run. For example, a print that is 7/25 means that this is the 7th printing of this photo and once the 25th print is produced, no more will be produced again. Limiting the number of prints produced preserves the exclusivity and long term value of every piece.
I offer two options for my fine art prints:
Limited Edition of 25 - Once a photo is printed and sold for the 25th time, the photo will be archived to never be printed again.
1 of 1 - The rarest form of limited edition, only 1 print will ever be made of that photo. This is usually done when being commissioned to do a certain piece by a collector.
Due to the limited nature of my photographic prints, every photo comes with a certificate of authenticity. These are printed on Hahnemuhle COA paper and come with two unique holograms. One will be attached to the certificate itself and the other will be placed on the artwork to make a matching pair. Every certificate is registered with myartregistry.com to secure the authenticity and provenance of the artwork. With the unique holograms, you can see a digital record of the photograph. This insures transparency, protection against forgery and proof of authenticity for collectors.
Every certificate includes:

Print Medium Options
Classic | Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta Paper Prints
Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta prints represent the highest standard in traditional photographic paper, offering a timeless presentation favored by galleries and museums worldwide. This medium is ideal for collectors who appreciate exceptional detail, depth, and a refined, classic finish.
Each photograph is printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta paper, a premium cotton based paper with a baryta coating that delivers extraordinary sharpness, rich blacks, and beautifully smooth tonal transitions. Its wide color gamut and high D-max allow for striking contrast while maintaining subtle highlight and shadow detail, resulting in images that feel both luminous and dimensional.
Engineered for archival performance, Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta paper is acid and lignin free and offers outstanding longevity when displayed under proper conditions. For optimal preservation, prints should be framed behind glass and displayed out of direct sunlight, ensuring the artwork retains its integrity for generations.

Created using a dye sublimation process, each image is infused directly into a specially coated aluminum surface using heat. The result is exceptional clarity, striking depth, and vivid color that feels almost luminous.
Only premium grade aluminum is used, ensuring outstanding durability and long term color stability. The image becomes part of the metal itself, rather than sitting on top, creating a smooth, frameless finish that enhances both modern and minimalist spaces.
Despite their solid construction, metal prints are lightweight and remarkably easy to care for. They require no glass and arrive ready to hang, featuring rear mounted aluminum rails paired with a precision cleat system for secure, level installation in your home or office.

Contemporary | Acrylic Glass Prints
Acrylic glass prints offer a striking, high end presentation designed to maximize depth, detail, and visual impact. By combining high resolution fine art printing with crystal clear, color neutral acrylic, each photograph takes on a luminous, almost three-dimensional presence that draws the viewer into the scene.
Images are produced using solvent free pigment printing and then are face mounted behind premium acrylic glass. This process enhances color intensity and contrast while preserving subtle tonal transitions and fine detail across a wide color spectrum. The acrylic layer adds a sense of depth and brilliance that elevates the photograph into a true gallery quality display.
Lightweight yet highly durable, acrylic glass is shatter resistant and well suited for both residential and professional environments. Each print is sealed using long lasting, permanently elastic gallery grade silicone and arrives ready to hang with rear mounted aluminum rails, creating a clean, frameless presentation. Care is simple, clean just as you would traditional glass.

Viewing Images Online
Standard computer screens with less than 4K resolution do not do a very good job of displaying fine art photographs. Higher resolution devices like smart phones or tablets do a better job with their brighter high resolution screens. Photos are best viewed on calibrated monitors ensuring proper brightness and color rendition. Please note that the prints may appear slightly different than what your phone or computer monitor shows depending on calibration of your devices.
Commission Pieces
Sometimes a collector wants a fine art photo from a specific place that an artist doesn’t have available. The collector could look elsewhere to find the photo they want but they feel a connection to a specific artist and want it from them. In these instances the collector commissions the artist to create the exact image that they are looking for with the artists unique style in mind.
This is something I offer and I take great pride in making the client ecstatic with the outcome. When commissioned for a project, we work closely on figuring out which location or subject the client wants photographed, time of year, what size and medium they want the final piece of art to be and all the details in between. This is usually accomplished in a single zoom call but can take longer as needed. I’m here to work with you to make sure you get the exact piece of art you want for your collection.
Commissioned pieces are more expensive and come at a higher premium than buying a fine art print that is already offered. Part of the zoom call is dedicated to working on what the budget of the shoot will be. This includes determining expenses that will be incurred by the artist, the time needed to photograph, edit and produce the final product and the cost of the piece of art itself. If both parties agree on a budget, a contract will be signed by both parties and work can begin on creating the perfect piece of art.
Being that this is a commissioned piece, no other collector will have the chance to own this piece. This will be a 1 of 1 piece of art that will only ever be available to the client unless they decide to sell the piece in the future. This leads to a higher intrinsic value for the piece of art.
Displaying Your Artwork
Thoughtful lighting plays an important role in how fine art photography is experienced. Displaying your artwork in a well lit space or with dedicated accent lighting allows the image’s depth, detail, and tonal range to fully reveal themselves.
Metal prints and metallic photographic papers are especially responsive to light, subtly reflecting it to enhance contrast, color, and dimensionality. While fine art prints are not intended to replicate the brightness of backlit digital screens, the professional papers and printing processes used ensure exceptional visual impact when properly illuminated.
With intentional placement and lighting, your artwork will present as it was meant to be seen… rich, immersive, and visually engaging.
When displaying your artwork using natural light, do not place your art in direct sunlight as the UV rays will damage and drastically shorten the life of the artwork. If accent lighting is used, it is recommended that an individual light is placed at a 30 degree angle to the artwork to minimize glare. Color temperature of the light is also important when using an accent light. Use a bulb with a color temperature that is between 3700 K - 3800 K. This will give the best natural lighting as warmer or cooler tones may lead to a color cast on the artwork.
