Behind the Lens: Portland Head Light is one of the most photographed places in New England and for good reason. I positioned myself to capture the rising sun and the distant lighthouse in my scene with Portland Head. I used a slower shutter to show the motion of the crashing waves on the rocks below. Even without clouds, the sky still got some nice sunrise colors.
