Behind the Lens: My wife and I just finished a sunrise hike in Devil’s Garden and I wanted to get back to Park Avenue to get a panoramic shot. Driving back we were stopped by road work that wasn’t there on the way in. Time was of the essence and every minute sitting there waiting for our turn felt like an eternity. The sun was getting higher, the light was getting harsher. Finally it was our turn and we made it to the viewpoint just in time while the light was still good to shoot.
