North Cascades in Fall

North Cascades National Park, Washington

Behind the Lens: The main reason I chose to head to Washington State at the beginning of October was to capture the golden larches of North Cascades National Park. There are a few trails that show off their beauty but the one I wanted to experience most was Maple Pass Loop Trail. If you look closely, you can see the trail winding it’s way through the scenery and spot some hikers throughout the image. 9.6 miles round trip and 2200 feet of elevation gain but completely worth it for the views.
