A lone bison stands on top of a hill with a tree changing colors on a autumn day.

Behind the Lens: While driving through the park, I saw some bison standing on a hill. I pulled over and watched as all but one bison ran across the road towards the campground. This lone bison remained standing guard on top of the hill. I lined up my shot to capture the tree as well as it appeared to glow in the evening sun.
